Why does sustainable packaging matter?

Candles are one of the highest consumable items, with 35% of candle sales occuring during the holidays. Sadly, this also means a lot of packaging waste in our landfills.

We knew we had to be different with our approach and we just weren't comfortable with using plastic in our packaging.

Each Begonia & Bench artisan candle comes hand-wrapped in kraft materials and our packaging is recyclable and compostable.

Materials that can be recycled or are compostable help create regenerative, healthy cycles within the ecosystem.
